If you're teaching on your own, start Free, it's a real classroom, not a trial, and it holds up to 5 enrollments. Move to Essential when your batch outgrows that. If you have a team of teachers and batches running in parallel, Professional is the one, it adds the admin layer: analytics, roles and team management. On Enterprise you also get student records, so performance and attendance follow each student across classes and terms. If you're running multiple campuses or departments and need custom roles and workflows, that's Enterprise. Counting differs too: the first three plans count enrollments, so one learner in three subjects uses three, while Enterprise counts monthly active students, so a learner in eleven subjects is one. Nobody needs to decide today, you can move up at any point without losing anything.

One student added to one class. Add the same learner to a second subject and that's a second enrollment, so tutoring someone in Math, Physics and Chemistry uses three. Anyone running the class, teaching, coordinating or administering, is never an enrollment, they're part of your team on your plan's teacher seats. Enterprise is the exception: there we count monthly active students instead, so a student sitting in eleven subjects is still one student.

Nothing gets cut off mid-term. Every plan includes a little room past its limit for replacements, so an enrollment that ends can be swapped for a new one without waiting for the next month. Once that room is used up we will ask you to move up a plan rather than block a class from running.

An enrollment is counted on the day you add the student to that class, and it counts once for the month. The count runs with your billing month and starts fresh on your renewal date. Removing an enrollment later frees the place for someone new, but the month that was already taught does not change, the same way an hour of teaching that already happened cannot be given back. On Enterprise the unit is the student rather than the enrollment: every student active in any class that month counts once.

On Free, Essential and Professional, no. You add students straight into a class, and that add is the enrollment. There is no separate directory to maintain. Enterprise is different: it keeps a student record so performance, attendance and history follow each student across classes and terms, which is why Enterprise counts monthly active students instead of enrollments, and why a student there counts from the moment you add them.

It stops the class generating anything new. Archived classes cannot host live calls, and their enrollments no longer count from your next billing month onward, which is how a finished term stops costing you. The current month is unaffected, since those classes already ran. You can archive a class yourself, or set Classverse to archive it automatically once its last scheduled session has passed.

Per teacher. You pay for each teacher who runs classes, not for the organisation as a whole, and not for the students who join them. So a centre with six teachers on Essential is six seats at $15, $90 a month. Add a seat when you hire, remove it when someone leaves. Coordinators and admins who don't teach aren't billed as teachers.

Yes, whenever you like. Move up when a batch grows, move down when a term ends, or cancel outright. There's no lock-in and no contract to get out of, and your classrooms and everything in them stay exactly where they are.
